IN HIS PRESENCE

As I look fully into His face, I see such beauty there. He is always with me, but today He comes closer (or maybe I am the one who moved closer) and it is awesome. I bask in His presence. I never want to leave His presence. In His presence there is fullness of joy. In His presence, all problems cease. In His presence, I find everything that I have been looking for, everything that I have ever wanted. Because, in His presence, there is no lack, there is no fear -- I am complete in His presence. Sickness cannot dwell in His presence, torment cannot dwell in His presence, sin cannot dwell in His presence. So in His presence is where I want to be. I am here in His presence at this very moment. I don’t want to move lest I find myself no longer in His presence. I want to savor what I am feeling. I want to cling to what I am feeling. We are not supposed to walk by our feelings, but, oh, what I am feeling right now – I would sell everything I have if it would buy me this feeling. But I don’t have to do that. He comes because I stop, because I take my eyes off everything around me and look fully at Him. He gives as much of Himself to me as I give of myself to Him. He is always there. He is always waiting. Waiting for me to turn to Him. Waiting for me to want His presence. He will withhold nothing good from me. But I have to be willing to embrace Him. When I fully embrace Him, He gives me everything He has, and He becomes everything I need. I love You, Father God; I love You, Jesus; I love You, Holy Spirit. I thank You for who You are; for everything You have done; for all the love You have shown to me. Nothing can compare to You; no one can compare to You. You are beyond comparison. And, oh, how You shine; oh, how You love. And to think that I get to dwell with You forever – that is the best thing that I could ever imagine. My heart longs to be in Your presence forever. But I thank You that now, here on earth, I can be in Your presence at special times like this. I will always need You; I will always want You; and I will always have You. And I ask of You, that anyone who comes upon these words that I have written, please immerse them in Your presence and let them taste who You are. Because, I know that once they get one taste of You, they will never want to be without You. Thank You, Father, for hearing me. And it is because of Your Son, Jesus, that I can come to You and that I can be in Your presence. Thank You. Thank You. Amen and Amen.
